As you have probably gathered by now, I really love my job at Sitening - being involved and working on something I’m passionate about is not lost on me, I’m very fortunate.
I’ve just moved into a new room and really like the spot I’m in. However, I have met my nemesis. I’m sitting right in front of and on top of a cold air vent. With it still being fairly warm outside, I get cold shots of air right onto my arse. After a while, I have to get up and walk about because it gets way too cold. Seriously, if you have any water that needs cooling, I know just the spot. Right here…
So I voiced this concern to Jon, who shares the same office. He was less than sympathetic toward the coldness of my behind. His response was:
Shouldn’t you be used to that coming from England?
Covering the vent is out because it would get as hot as a Scotsman with no booze. I am currently open to suggestions.

could you get one of those handy vent air re-director hoods? other than that i got nothin’ (except it’s a nice looking vent)!
Good suggestion Joshua. I’ll look into that. In the meantime I’ll take a coat in and drape it over the vent or on the back of my chair.
