I’ve been training on and off for about four months and like other runners, I’ve been reading up on running barefoot. I’ve had really bad ankle injuries from playing soccer, and was advised by my doctor after suffering ankle pain and bruising to perhaps consider another hobby other than running. Not one to be put off, I figured I would give it one last go and see if running barefoot would help.
I recently ordered a pair of Vibram 5Fingers KSO Trek shoes and received them in the mail today. Here is me unboxing and testing out my new running shoes.

Great insight into the new shoes. Are you going to provide a follow up after you have a few dozen miles on them?
Brent, yes. Once I’ve got a decent amount of miles on them, I’ll do a follow up post and/or video.
The Monkeh strikes again – love the clip and I am interested to see how they work out in the long run….for lack of a better term. I will keep postd for future updates
I actually know someone who has owned these for awhile and he LOVES them. He wears them all the time – not just for running. I thought he was wearing socks the first time I saw them.
